I am using this with a Sansa connected to the Aux port. The Sansa has very good volume on it's own. When the volume on the Sansa is turned all the way up and the vulume on this unit is turned all the way up, the volume is barely loud enough for a fairly large room. I was hoping to use this as a portable system for picnics and other outdoor get-togethers based on other reviews, but the volume won't allow that. For $30 though, I can use it in the house or on my porch.

MAYBE* worth 30 bucks.. can't see this thing selling for 75$, and it's listed for 150$ to $300$?!! No way! It has decent sound... My ipod mini docks fine (it comes w/ 10, yes 10 adapters), but wont play over the speakers w/ any of them. It's sposta charge the ipod and be controlled via remote- neither is true. I left my ipod docked, it discharged it when the ipod was off and the speakers in radio mode.
I'm looking into returning it

after 2 years of searching for a ipod station that didn't sound like junk and was priced @ 100-300$$ I decided to give this one a try. for $30.00 you cant get a better sounding I pod dock than most of the $300 ones out there. The sound is loud crisp and clear! The bad about this unit is the power cord. It has a huge bulky unnecessary power box that is not only inconvenient but made poorly. inside it has 3 fuses that are barley held in place (meaning the first time the box slips off the counter it will not work!)not a problem if you could open the box, but there is no access to it. you have to saw it open just to wiggle the fuses back into there flimsy holders. Otherwise a great buy for the buck.

Warning does not play video from iPod touch! I was a little dissapointed b/c that was half the reason i bought it. The other half is it was really cheap, and the quality is amazing.

This is a nice little piece of hardware. Has very nice and clear sound up to a point (on some of my metal songs there is scratchiness).
Would have rated it all 5's except, and i am NOT sure that its the unit's fault, on my metal play list (of 600+ songs) once it hits somewhere over the 300 range the random gets turned off.
havent seen this ever but when I plug it in to the station, but then again my ipod has been doing wired things lately, like linking incorrect songs to file names.
