My computer doesn't recognize this mp3 player, and the manufacturer didn't send the software. So, I couldn't download any of my favorite songs. I think I liked sansa c200 better it was a lot easier to transfer songs. Worst of all, this item cannot be returned=((.

I probably should have done more research. I saw these on sale here and thought they would be a good device for my 6 and 4 year olds to watch movies in the car, so I bought two of them. As mentioned in other reviews, these come without any sort of instructions, which is not a huge problem when you can download them. I had not seen anywhere in my brief analysis that these devices can only play quicktime (.mov) files. The media converter that is available for this does a very poor job of converting media files and the video and audio were out of sync, whether watching it on the pc or the sansa. This problem is well documented in user forums. (Which I should have taken time to read) The screen is really too small for video as well. Should have thought it through better. Unfortunately, I missed the 14 day return deadline (by 4 days) because I've been busy and work, and so will be heading to ebay to get rid of them. I since have read more reviews and purchased the Creative Zen which has a bigger screen and is absolutely outstanding.I highly recommend the Zen. Was this review helpful?

I am convinced that most problems with this MP3 player are computer issues, not problems with the player. We have 3 of these now in our household, and although one has had a number of problems with freezing up (easily rectified by re-inserting the battery), the other two have given no problems. I am not terribly computer literate (I am in the over-50 age group) and I was able to figure it out with minimal help from my teenagers. Be sure you download the latest upgrades from the Sansa site. Any problems you have can be dealt with on the Sansa Forum. I will be buying another one of these for a Christmas present... Be sure you buy the warranty- just common sense for anything electronic and small. Was this review helpful?
