In the second quarter of 2014 nearly 50 million tablets were shipped around the world, according to IDC. Tablet sales grew 11 percent compared to last year. And while large-screen Smartphones are expected to slow sales slightly, tablets are still a hot item. The price of a tablet can vary significantly which is why it's so important to be a smart shopper.
