Apps are usually pretty affordable, but just like everything else you like to buy, they do go on sale. And sometimes they are even free! Wondering how to stay in the loop about app sales, discounts and freebies? Here are five ways.

Deals of the Day
Check out iosnoops.com which creates a daily list of apps that are on sale. Many of the apps they feature are even temporarily available free of charge. You'll find apps listed in many categories including entertainment, business and books. And since the price of apps can change without notice, check out the real-time deals section.

App Price Drops App
Download the free App Price Drops app. Create a wish list of apps you are interested in and the app will track them, sending you a push notification when the price drops. You can also see what apps your friends are tracking.

Free Apps Category
Both Google Play and the iTunes store feature categories that highlight the most popular free apps. These range from the obvious (like Facebook) to a game you may not know about. (Heard of Cupcake Mania??) Scroll through this list to find freebies you'd like to have on your phone.

Free Game of the Day
Love discovering new and free games? Download the Free Game of the Day app and you'll never pay for another game again! The app showcases only the best free games, helping avid gamers save up to $100 a month on downloads.

App Gratis Newsletter
Every day one paid app becomes free (or gets a discount of 90%) and the team at appgratis.com lets their list of email subscribers know about it. The sale usually only lasts 24 hours so it's important to act fast if you want the bargain. Tell Appgratis what device you have, where you live and what language you prefer so that app deals are tailored to your needs.

You need to do something about posting outdated
bargains. One example is today's Old Navy one... one day sale expired yesterday , yet you posted it today. This is not the 1st time this has happened...occurs too often to be just an oversight. Don't post these out of date "bargains" you lose credibility!!
