Fast Food Breakfast: Where to Score the Best Deal

Posted on 03/26/2014

Do you have breakfast plans yet? You do now! Taco Bell is rolling out its brand new breakfast menu nationwide, the company's largest menu addition since its opening in 1962. It could be because the restaurant industry saw a 3% rise in breakfast visits last year, according to Mashable. And although the ideal way to save money is to eat the most important meal of the day at home, here are some of the best fast food breakfast deals.

McDonald's Dollar Breakfast Menu
You could easily get a full breakfast for $3 at McDonald's, less if you don't care for a side of hash browns. McDonald's offers three breakfast entrees for a buck: Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit and the Sausage Burrito. Plus you can get a coffee for less than a dollar.

Subway $3 Custom Breakfast Combo
Subway, known for their $5 footlongs, has an even cheaper deal for breakfast. Score a 21 ounce fountain drink or coffee, plus choose between three six inch breakfast sandwiches: ham, egg and cheese; egg and cheese; or bacon, egg and cheese. This Custom Breakfast Combo is just $3.

Taco Bell's New Menu
In honor of the launch of its new breakfast menu you can bet Taco Bell will be offering some sweet deals on items like Waffle Tacos and the AM Crunchwrap. According to reports there will be two smaller burritos (bacon and egg or sausage and egg) for just $.99.

Cinnabon Freebie
Unless you find yourself at the mall in the morning you may be eating your Cinnabon at different times of the day, but it is a cinnamon roll after all. While the typical price for one of these sugary baked goods is about $4 you can get a free Minibon when you sign up for Club Cinnabon.

Burger King Under $3
One of the most popular fast food breakfast options, Burger King, offers several combos for less than $3. The combo includes a small coffee and hash browns. Choose between a biscuit sandwich, muffin sandwich and a Cinnabon Minibon.
