Get Ready Day: Free Resources to Prepare for the Worst

We may not be experiencing the active hurricane season that weather experts predicted, but that doesn't mean a disaster won't strike again soon. To help you prepare for a pandemic flu, infectious disease or a natural disaster the American Public Health Association created Get Ready Day. This year it falls on September 17 and here are free resources to help you prepare for the worst.

Stockpile Grocery List
Experts say that every American should have at least a three-day supply of food and water stocked in their home. That means having at least one gallon of water per person per day and if you have the storage space you may want to keep even more on hand.
