Plenty of people dream of being rich and famous because when you've got money in the bank your only responsibility is being awesome. But that's not always how it shakes out. As these celebrities have proven, more money really can mean more problems.

Reality Star Teresa Giudice
Known for her table flipping tantrums, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice now faces prison time. She and husband Joe were recently charged with bank and bankruptcy fraud according to The Giudices plan to fight the charges

Rapper DMX
Forty-two-year-old rapper DMX has had a rough summer. He was arrested for driving under the influence and within days filed for bankruptcy. The Wall Street Journal says that DMX owes more than one million in child support and another $21,000 on a car lease.

Boy Band Mogul Lou Pearlman
The world would not have enjoyed the hits of The Backstreet Boys and N'Sync if it weren't for Lou Pearlman. But while the boy band mogul brought joy to millions of tweens in the 1990s, he brought heartache to those he scammed. According to CNBC Pearlman masterminded investor scams totaling more than $500 million. In 2008 he was convicted and sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.

Reality Mom Kate Gosselin
Kate Gosselin's major financial problem right now is that she has no steady income. That's what she told USA Today recently. TLC axed her reality show two years ago and she was fired from a blogging job last fall. She may be forced to return to nursing to support her family but in the meantime she's launched her website

Singer Dionne Warwick
According to reports from Headline News, pop icon Dionne Warwick was down to just $1,000 in cash earlier this year. She owes more than $10 million to the federal government and the state of California. Despite having won five Grammy awards and enjoying a 50-year career Warwick, 72, couldn't escape financial ruin.
