Taking advantage of sales and discounts on clothing is a great way to cut that expense. Before the first school bell rings check out these retailers for affordable kids' clothes.

Score online exclusive discounts for a limited time at Gymboree. Save 40 percent on school styles for boys or take 40 percent off regular priced socks, tights and underwear when you buy three or more. Gymboree is also offering an extra 20 percent off already reduced merchandise or 30 percent off all regular priced items.

Justice and Brothers
Take your daughters to Justice and your sons to Brothers for affordable back-to-school clothes. They'll love the cool graphics and colored bottoms while parents will appreciate saving 40 percent on their purchase. The sale is good through September 9 online and in-store.
