Your car, your clothes and even your couch could be sources of untapped income. It's all part of a growing sharing economy where people are making ends meet by sharing their stuff with strangers. Forbes magazine recently estimated that $3.5 billion flows through this economic revolution of part-time entrepreneurs. Share your resources using these tools and you'll make and save money on almost anything.

Share Space
Find an affordable place to stay in 34,183 cities and 192 countries. Or make some cash by letting strangers crash on your couch or in your spare bedroom. Airbnb collects payment from your guest and transfers it to you electronically 24 hours after the guests check in. It's free to list your property and Airbnb takes a 3% cut.

Share a Car
If you enjoy driving-- or prefer to stay out of taxi cabs-- then check out Lyft, your friend with a car. Lyft Drivers can earn up to $35 an hour, choosing their own hours. You must be at least 23 years old and have your own car, 2000 or newer. Or if you want to loan out your entire car, Getaround.com is a good option. You can earn money renting out your car while you're not using it. If you're in need of a car you may find cheaper options than typical rental companies offer. For instance you can rent a MINI Cooper in San Francisco for $8.50 an hour.

Share Clothes
Want to update your spring wardrobe, but don't want to spend money on fickle fashion? Rent designer clothing and accessories from sites like tiesociety.com. They have hundreds of unique ties from designers including Burberry, Armani and Hermes. Wear them as long as you want and exchange them when you're ready. For women there's 99dresses.com, an infinite closet of free fashion. Upload quality unwanted shoes, clothes and accessories. Sell them to other women for a virtual currency called 'Buttons' which you can then use to buy anything you want.

Share Parking
Parking can be tough to find in hot spots like DC, San Francisco and other metro locales. Parking Panda will help you find a parking place or if you're someone with a few feet to spare, you can rent your spot. Earn cash as soon as someone books your spot. You set the price and Parking Panda takes 20% of each transaction.
