Free Dietician Access
A registered dietitian can advise you on what to eat in order to achieve a certain goal. Whether it's to lose weight, cure an ailment or boost your energy, they'll give you a get-healthy plan. Access one of these experts for free every Wednesday at noon Eastern on Hannaford's Facebook page. The grocery store chain also offers free in-store nutrition demos and classes for those who live in the northeast.

Rate Your Plate Quiz
Are you eating right? Analyze your eating habits with a quick quiz called Rate Your Plate. Head to eatright.org to find your food grade.

Free Recipe Cards
One way to eat healthier is to cook at home. You know exactly what you're eating. Get motivated by printing out a free collection of recipe cards like these from Thesmallobject.com or these from Avie Designs.

Create a Healthy Cookbook
Not sure what to make for dinner? Get a cookbook full of ideas with the free Build My Cookbook feature at usda.gov. You can even search for recipes that are not only healthy, but kid friendly.
