Romantic Low Cost Recipes You Can Make at Home

If you're opting to skip the crowds and over-priced food for a romantic Valentine's Day meal at home, consider putting one of these low cost meals on the menu. They're still special enough for a holiday, but won't lead to any fights about money.

Cheese Soufflé
Soufflés probably aren't on your typical Thursday night menu, but they can be this February 14. This recipe from for Cheese Soufflé is what the magazine promises-- simple. The most expensive ingredient is a half cup of grated Gruyere which shouldn't cost more than a few bucks.

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter
It's not exactly fillet mignon, but this sirloin steak recipe from packs plenty of flavor. Don't skimp on the butter, but keep in mind the garlic may require an after dinner mint before you snuggle up with your sweetheart.
