Facebook and Twitter Poll: What is Your Black Friday Mission?

Black Friday may need to find a new name—many stores announced they’re actually opening their doors on Thanksgiving for shoppers who want doorbuster deals. And plenty of people do. The National Retail Federation estimates 152 million will shop at some point over Black Friday weekend. That’s up 10% from last year so we wanted to know—what’s your Black Friday mission?

Facebook Lauren Earle Walker: Scouting out blackfriday.org. Places open at MIDNIGHT this year! The plan: take a nap from 8-11. Then hit the stores.

Paul A. Speidel: Getting out of it unscathed!! People are ridiculously crazy!! Working in retail is rough that day!!

Patricia McCorkle Crandall: Mission? To pray for the people who have to work retail!!!

Susan Robin Sorrell: I buy online to avoid the crowds and keep my peace of mind...

Denise Ferlick: My mission every year is to put up the Christmas decor without having to go out and replace anything; so far I've failed my mission every year... fingers crossed for next Friday!
