No crowds, no cranky cashiers, and no dress code—isn’t Cyber Monday the best? If it weren’t for those pesky shipping charges, Cyber Monday could be perfect, right? There are plenty of ways to avoid paying for shipping on Cyber Monday purchases. Here are some hints - plus, fabulous coupons to save even more on your online orders can be found over at the UltimateCoupons' Cyber Monday Deals page!

Look for Ship to Store - Many retailers offer free shipping when you have it sent to the store location closest to you. Wal-mart’s Site to Store program is a free service that lets you ship your order from Walmart.com to any Wal-Mart location for free. Ace Hardware and Best Buy have similar programs that allow you to pick up your purchases and avoid shipping fees. Sears offers the “Ready-in-Five” merchandise pick-up program. When you order something online and go to the store to pick it up, you won’t have to wait longer than five minutes. If you do, they’ll give you a $5 coupon good for your next in-store purchase.

Try a Shipping Service - Amazon.com has tons of great Cyber Monday deals. The prices on hundreds of items have been slashed, but there’s still that shipping charge on your bill. One way to avoid that charge on Cyber Monday purchases—and everything else you buy for 30 days-- is by signing up for a free trial of Amazon Prime. You’ll enjoy unlimited free two-day shipping for an entire month.

Buy More - It may sound silly to buy more in order to get free shipping, but it could actually cost you less. Many retailers are offering free shipping when you spend a certain amount. At Crate and Barrel, you’ll get free shipping when you spend $100, and at MyPublisher.com, shipping is free when purchases are over $50.

Look for Coupon Codes - Before checking out, do a quick search for coupon codes that may give you free shipping. For instance, use coupon code 3016123 to get free shipping on any order at LLBean.com. And for dozens of other coupon codes check out UltimateCoupons.com. They’ve got a page dedicated to Cyber Monday that will show you the best deals and coupon codes available to help you save money.

Visit the Homepage - If you’re surfing the web, you may not always visit a retailer’s homepage. Make sure you pay the homepage a visit to scan it for free shipping promo codes. For instance, Macys.com is advertising free shipping for orders $75 and over with the code CYBER, and at UrbanOutfitters.com, the homepage announces free shipping with code FREEBIRD at checkout. If you don’t visit the homepage you may miss out on obvious savings like this.

Shop at Sites Offering Completely Free Shipping - Many retailers are using Cyber Monday as their chance to offer completely free shipping on any purchase. Sites like EddieBauer.com and ArmaniExchange.com are slashing shipping charges completely in honor of Cyber Monday.
