Just in case you wondered what was up with all of the pink stuff filling store shelves and shop windows, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. That means it’s time to think pink and support this worthy cause. Plenty of companies are making it easy for you to get behind the search for a cure with merchandise that supports breast cancer research.

Coach - Shop this Coach collection with a cause. Twenty percent of the proceeds during the month of October will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Pick up the multi floral scarf for $38 or a leather bag for $358 and feel good knowing you’re supporting a great cause.

New Balance - Check out New Balance’s Lace Up for the Cure apparel and footwear collection. New Balance will give the Susan G. Komen Foundation 15% of wholesale sales, with a minimum donation of $500,000. Order up a pair of personalized 993S tennis shoes that honor a loved one who battled or survived cancer. It serves as a unique and special tribute.

Oakley - Order up a new pair of shades and support young women affected by breast cancer. Every pair of sunglasses sold in Oakley’s special edition collection will send $20 to the Young Survival Coalition, a non-profit focused on helping young women with cancer.

Red Envelope - Purchase any items from Red Envelope’s “Pink Ribbon” collection and the company will give 10% of the sales to Susan G. Komen for a Cure. Choose from dozens of items including a pink orchid and a deluxe spa kit.

Sears - Thinking pink doesn’t mean you have to buy something girlie. Check out these soft tip pink darts from Sears. You’ll get a carrying case, extra flights, extra tips, extra shafts, a dart mechanic wrench and you’ll support the fight against breast cancer.

Sephora - Not only will you feel good pampering yourself with these products from Sephora, but you’ll also feel good about helping a worthy cause. They’ve got a whole collection of pink ribbon products from brands that will donate a portion of proceeds to non-profits that are helping to find a cure.
