High Growth Job Training - Last fall $10 million dollars was allocated to high growth job training. Fields like health care, information technology and advanced manufacturing are in high demand. If any of these fields interest you, check out these five free job training programs.

Educational Opportunities - Unemployed workers that receive unemployment benefits may also qualify for significant financial aid for education and training, under new initiatives by the Obama administration. Career One-Stop Center - Your local Career One-Stop Center is a good resource for job training. Everything done here is free of cost to the public since it’s funded by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.

Technology Skills - Want to improve your technology, literacy or math skills? More than 700,000 people have used to do just that. Supported by the Goodwill Community Foundation, this site exists to help anyone who wants to learn.

Online Tutorials - is a great place to turn if you want to brush up on computer skills or learn how to make salsa. Although some of the topics are on the fun side, there are dozens of free tutorials on subjects that really will help you in the job market.

Military Spouse Benefits - If your spouse is in the military, there are many resources available for free job training. One of those is through H&R Block. They offer full scholarships to military spouses for their Income Tax Course whether you want to brush up on your tax skills or earn extra income as a tax professional. There are also a variety of training resources available at that will help military spouses start their own businesses.
