Krispy Kreme giving away free doughnut tomorrow

Tomorrow only, be sure to stop by your local Krispy Kreme doughnut shop to receive a free doughnut of your choice in celebration of National Doughnut Day. Each customer will receive one doughnut of choice. And, just to fill your head with a little meaningless trivia, we'll tell you a little about National Doughnut Day! It got it's start back in 1938 as a fund raiser for the Chicago Salvation Army as a way to help the needy during the Great Depression. The Salvation Army also set up "huts" near the front lines during WWI selling, among other things, doughnuts. So now you know! Offer valid at participating Krispy Kreme shops on 06/05/2009 only.
