Free Summer Fun

Looking for some free fun to pass away the summer months? Lucky for you there’s lots to do that won’t cost lots. If free ice cream, free movies, and free music all sound like your idea of summer fun, then keep reading.

Free Ice Cream
Kick off summer with some free ice cream from Walmart. Head to your local Walmart store this Saturday May 30 between 11am and 4pm to take advantage. You’ll get to choose between Ben and Jerry's Flipped Out Cup ice cream, Blue Bunny Aspen Frozen Yogurt Granola Bars and Dibs Snack Bags. But choose wisely because each person only gets one.

Free Bowling
When the weather is hot, retreat into the nearest chilly air conditioned bowling alley. Dozens of bowling alleys across the country are offering free bowling for kids every day of the summer. Sign up at KidsBowlFree.com. Each week they’ll email coupons for free bowling. Parents can play too, for a small fee. Purchase a family pass and for just $23.95 up to four adults can bowl with the kids all summer long.

Free Tours
Visit a local farm and get a free tour. You’ll get to enjoy a lovely summer day outside while learning about local agriculture. If you want to buy some of the fruit and produce you see growing, you can do that, too.

Free Summer Soundtrack
Every good summer needs a soundtrack. Get yours for free by becoming a fan of iTunes on Facebook. Once you become a fan, click on the “Spring into Summer Mix” graphic to start the process. If you’ve already got iTunes on your computer, you’ll be jamming out to a new summer playlist in no time.

Free Movies
All summer long you can watch free flicks at dozens of Regal cinemas. The Free Family Film Festival starts every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 10am. Space is limited so get there early.

Free Craft Classes
Learn something new this summer with a free craft class from CraftyCollege.com or ecraftclasses.com. You may pick up a new hobby or perfect an old one.
