Price haggling at megastores becoming common

But what you may not know is that big retailers, including the likes of Best Buy, Circuity City and Home Depot, are now negotiating with savvy customers. "We want to work with the customer, and if that happens to mean negotiating a price, then we're willing to look at that," said Kathryn Gallagher, a spokeswoman for Home Depot. So the next time you're out shopping for a big-ticket item, don't be ashamed to bargain with the salesperson or manager.
