The Sharper Image files for bankruptcy
Following years of slowing sales, gadget oasis The Sharper Image this week filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company said about half of its 184 stores should be closed "as soon as possible" due to poor performance. No word yet on future sales, but if your local mall houses one of the closing stores you may just be able to snag a robot on the cheap.
